Shooting Future Stars

There's a new theatre company here in Portland, Maine - Theatre Ensemble of Color - or TEoC, the brain child of Rene Johnson, a wonderful actor and stage manager.  I offered to shoot one of their workshop meetings back in March when it was still winter at Mayo Street Arts Center.  Now the snow is just about all gone and it was all of 65 degrees yesterday - yes I saw people in shorts, ah Maine!  Here's a couple of photos from that shoot.

Not sure who this was, but I loved the silhouette in front of the stained glass window.

The other thing which might make you a future star in the photo world is to get some photos in a major magazine.  But how does one do that?  The always excellent site run by Rob Haggart has a great article about a guy who did some strategic planning before coming to NYC to pitch editors on his work.  A great read - HERE.

I can see the buds on the lilac bush in my backyard.  I'm very excited!
