However, I don't think there are any copywright issues with photogs like me who like to shoot graffiti. So here's an image of some "public art" that I saw in New York earlier this year.
We're busy in the studio now getting work ready for the Running with Scissors Fall Harvest show and do take a look at Constellation Gallery, 511 Congress St., in Portland ME where I have a sizable number of archival prints for sale.
I'll be having an artist's reception there on August 27th from 5 to 8 pm to celebrate the fact that not only was I chosen as a finalist in the Julia Margaret Cameron Awards, but I was asked to exhibit the work at the 3rd Biennale of Documentary and Fine Art Photography in Malaga, Spain at the Municipal Museum beginning September 18th and running to November 20th.
I will be exhibiting the work that will show in Spain as well as some other new work. The other work involves working in-camera phones with apps (or iPads), printing them on Japanese mulberry paper and then infusing them with encaustic wax.
